Cell phones in public places! What the heck man!? I understand calling someone. I understand receiving a call. I understand using an earpiece while you drive. I understand using a walkie-talkie on a job-site. What I don't understand is using either the walkie-talkie or the earpiece in a store, especially while holding up the line at the checkout. Were you not aware that you were in line? Did you forget that you have to pay and interact with the teller?

I used to work behind that counter where people you get angry when I spoke to them, "That'll be three dollars and twenty-five cents". They'd shoot me a look like, "can't you see I'm on the phone? How rude!" The next customer would walk up and say, "Hey! How's it going?" I'd reply, "Good, How are..." they would interrupt with "Yeah, did you find the presentation folder I was asking about..." That's when I would realize they were on the phone, using an earpiece. That last phone issue I have is "private" conversations in public on a walkie-talkie phone. Usually allot of annoying beeping and yelling too. Hang up people! Hang up.
